I say this because Google is embedding a vm from chromium to support dart. I do not think this is ideal for an open web. Pypy, on the other hand, would be ideal as an open web vm! Think about it!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3971202189709462152.post-44292566527216177712012-10-05T19:35:12.735+02:002012-10-05T19:35:12.735+02:00we chose to target 3.2 because at the time 3.3 was...we chose to target 3.2 because at the time 3.3 was a moving target. Now we could indeed decide to retarget 3.3, but I'm not sure it's a good idea. There is still a lot of work to be done for 3.2, and adding more features would only shift the end to later.Antonio Cunihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17017456817083804792noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3971202189709462152.post-81387187617234879102012-10-05T18:43:39.497+02:002012-10-05T18:43:39.497+02:00Python 3.3 has some absolutely crucial fixes (fina...Python 3.3 has some absolutely crucial fixes (finally! to Unicode). I'd go as far as to say that Python 3.3 is the first Pyton version of all that is truly suitable for the full range of internationalized apps. So I wonder a bit about the set target for the PyPy3 work being 3.2. Any chance it can be 3.2 with the 3.3 Unicode implementation?<br />Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3971202189709462152.post-88260097083372150512012-09-26T12:48:42.972+02:002012-09-26T12:48:42.972+02:00Following your work, great to see progress!Following your work, great to see progress!Ernst Sjöstrandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17837850227679012927noreply@blogger.com
